My Doll Collection (currently getting a facelift)

I began collecting dolls in 2010.

As of Fall 2015, I have 14 dolls.

Christmas 2010

 1. ♡ Elizabeth Cole ♡ retired, best friend of Felicity

Elizabeth was my first doll. I received her as a Christmas gift. She is always special to me because she was my first. But, with newer dolls becoming my favorites she does tend to sit with my sister's doll, Felicity, on a shelf gathering dust. Her limbs are really loose and her hair makes me nervous to style because of her pin curls. I don't want to run the risk of brushing them out.

2. ♡ Lanie Holland ♡ retired, GOTY 2010

Lanie was my second doll. She was a total surprise when I opened her. I remember the breath taking moment of excitement when I saw the name Lanie on the doll box and took her blond curls out of the hair net. She stole my heart and kept it for a while. Then the love started to show up when she began to deteriorate. I noticed a strange, random black ink stain that had soaked deep into her vinyl. Then one day, I was doing a stop motion outside and Lanie fell face-first on the asphalt and chipped her nose. Her perfect little nose scratched and scuffed up. Then her hair started getting dryer and frizzier and less curly. I plan on sending her to the doll hospital soon. I am not sure about replacing her legs because the stain has started to fade a lot. I may use Stephenswodadancer's way of removing stains. I slowly stopped using her as much. But after she's fixed up, I can tell ya, she will become my favorite again! I recommend her to anyone who finds her for a cheap deal on eBay!

3. ♡ Samantha Parkington ♡ retired, Nellie's best friend

 Oh, Samantha, she's my third doll. She's American Girl's little darling. She is beautiful. Unique. I have a good amount of her clothes, considering she's retired. I love her Victorian style. I don't use her much. She usually stands in her bed room with her hair perfectly styled and curled.

4. ♡ Kirsten Larson ♡ retired

Kirsten was my fourth doll. Though I don't use her much, I always regularly change her clothes and style her hair. She's my technical oldest doll. She's Pleasant Company (which makes her one of the first Kirstens) and had really nasty hair when I got her. It wasn't soft or very fun to use. I washed her hair and cleaned her skin some time ago. She looks brand new now. I hope to never send her to the hospital because she would be completely transformed into a new doll.

5. ♡ Julie Albright ♡ Ivy's bestfriend

Julie was my fifth doll. Her long blond hair always had me wanting her. I am trying to get more friendly with her hair because it usually stays down. I am currently trying to uncrimp her braid. I love all of Julie's collection. It seems I always use her bed in my videos. Its a gorgeous bed.

6. ♡ Kit Kittredge ♡ Ruthie's best friend 

Kit was my sixth doll. She was my first doll with freckles and I absolutely fell in love with her. I liked easily being able to use her because her hair stayed perfect. I wish it was maybe more Chrissa's length.

7. ♡ Emily Bennett ♡  retired, bestfriend of Molly

Emily was my seventh doll. Emily stayed my favorite for a very long time. She is super photogenic. But what makes her so special is that I got her at AG Place Atlanta. It was my first time going to an AG store and that day was awesome. I totally recommend her to anyone if you see her for a cheap deal on eBay!

Summer 2012

8. ♡ Jess McOnnel ♡ retired, GOTY 2006 

My mother surprised us with Jess in the summer of 2012. She is a pretty doll but doesn't get played with very often. Her stuffing is very broad in the chest area. Has anyone else had this problem?

9. ♡ Rickey Cates ♡  MAG #33

Rickey was my eighth doll. She is veryyy special to me. My mom picked her out for me, knowing that I really loved wished for GOTY 2007, Nicki. Her name came from a singer at my church. He is a really good musician and funny and a really good person. His name is Rick and since I am really against boringish names, I twisted it to Rickey. She has curly red hair and blue eyes and is one of my favorites. I don't intend on getting anymore Just Like You dolls. None could be as special as Rickey. She stole my heart.

10. ♡ Caroline Abbot ♡ retired

"Care-bear" was my ninth doll. She is my second favorite doll. I remember admiring her perfect eyes that matched her dress and long blond locks on Christmas morning. I loved Caroline to death. Then around May, I totally lost interest in dolls. Poor Caroline. She sat in a storage box for 6 months until I took her out and fixed her hair up. Her hair got drastically dry. I still am fixing her up now. Her hair is disastrous. 

11. ♡ Marie-Grace ♡  retired, Cècile's best friend

Marie-Grace was my tenth doll. She was one of those dolls I went back and forth on, and got as a surprise. Well ... she is a little faulty but we never got around to exchanging her. She has extremely loose limbs & weird glue - like material in her hair. She started to grow on me recently though.

12. ♡ Nicki Fleming ♡ retired, GOTY 2007

Whoah now. Did I really get my favorite girl of the year? Oh yea! Nicki was my eleventh doll and she has always been my favorite! I was pretty convinced I would have to wait until next year to get her, but I got her! Here's a little coincidence – I got Rickey because she resembled Nicki ... and they just so happened to have rhyming names! I love Nicki to death and her and Rickey are partners in crime ... which means my favorites! She is also my first doll with caramel hair!

13. ♡ Mia St. Clair ♡ retired, GOTY 2008

Omg, Mia.  She is my most recent doll and a close favorite! Her unique freckle pattern is to die for! She is my second doll with strawberry-blond hair (1st was Rickey) She is my second favorite GOTY. She is currently not in business right now because I'm uncrimping her braid! I love some Mia!

This had been the longest I had ever gone without getting a doll. I hadn't gotten a new doll since 2013. I didn't get a doll in 2014. In 2014, I lost interest in dolls almost completely and my life changed a lot. I went through a lot of tough stuff in 2014 and I honestly forgot about my dolls. Looking back, when I took my dolls out of my life, I wasn't happy anymore. I am going to try to get back into dolls again because it taught me a lot of things I know today.

14. ♡ McKenna Brooks ♡ retired, GOTY 2012
In 2012, I debated all year on getting McKenna. If you look back, that year all the dolls I got actually have retired recently other than Rickey. However, Rickey was a surprise so I wasn't in a position to demand my mother get me a different doll. That is a better way to look at it than that I dropped $230 on a doll that I could have gotten when she was available. Anyways, she won't decrease in value as she is one of the most hardest dolls to get on eBay nowadays.
She is so beautiful. Her hair is to die for with no part. I can do any hairstyle on her.
